Default is this teg worth 7500??

I have a friend that wants to buy a teg for 7500 bucks. the whole car has been recently repainted, they have an xtreme front bumper ready to be put on, studded snow tires, already installed AEM CAI, interstate batt., and some engine dress-up stuff. it's a '94 LS with 120,000 miles on it. I looked on KBB, and it said it's only worth 5500. What do U guys think?

repainted might mean it has been in a possible accident....most likely...i would say get carfax and run a history report...and yes that is way too much for a 94 ls.. i got my ls for around 6 k with 75k miles...great condition rich white lady didn't need it nemore ^_^ she got a lexus

In my opinion, way too much. I bought my car stock a month ago for $4800. And I didn't really even get the best deal. CHECK EBAY. Look at what the cars are going for. For example, one guy was offered only $7100 for a '95 GS-R w/ 97k miles last week. Ebay isn't definitive, but it gives you an idea.

Tell your friend to slow down and do some research!! (or if you're nice you'll help 'em w/it) You can ALWAYS find better than KBB prices.

Before you buy any car have it checked out by a good shop. They'll be able to tell if it's been well cared-for or if it's got a load of problems.

Also to find a better idea of what you should be offering to sellers check out edmunds.com.

i think that is too much, you can definately find a better deal than that, sounds like rip to me.....keep looking......and the repainting sounds a bit suspicious
