i gotta 92 aucra integra. i had this problem rite before i bought the car in april, but never thought about it since it was summer and i didnt use my heater and did not rain. Today i went to start up my car and turn the heater on to defog the windows and a good cup of water came from underneath the pasenger side. My fan is quite loud when you can hear it now. Any one know what is wrong????


P.S. i also had a little problem with my car yesterday too, i ran my gas tank liek BONE dry yesterday, and then i filled up to see how many liters my tank was (i think its around 45-50 liters). and then yesterday night my car was ideling pretty rough and when i starting going form a stop, it seemed to sputter. I thought it could of been something in the fuel filter, but i just replaced to 2 weeks ago. Today it was fine. If any one would know what happened please let me know thanks

 

just taking a quick guess i woud say you have a heater core thats leaking or a heater hose running to the heater core....that would be my guess since it happens when u turn the heater on

 

About your rough idle, have you checked the ignition counterparts first? Check the wires, cap/rotor, ignition timing, and spark plugs.

It may just be a strange coincidence that it happened after you ran the tank dry.
