Mind helping me figure this question I asked out, or maybe giving it a try by just putting yoru key into the second position right before you start it up and see if you have the sound also? https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=204606 Go there for more details.

The blow off valve flange needs to be welded to the upper charge pipe. Then you attach the blow off valve. His uses a circlip which is a total bitch to install and mine uses two mounting bolts. Then you run a vaccum line from the FPR to the blow off valve. His isn't adjustable, but mine is. There is a little screw on the top of mine that turns and adjusts spring tension.

whew, that is one CLEAN INSTALL!! what kind of turbo is it (T2? T3? T4? or whatever...)? Will that same Greddy Kit fit my 1995 GS-R? Everywhere I look for it, it says it's only for a '96-'99. What's the difference? JW. Also, why not go with a Type-S BOV since it's a Greddy kit anyway?

It is a TD05-18G. A little bigger than what comes on a DSM stock. The Greddy kit will fit your application minus the bluebox they used to provide as the wiring was different because of the differences in OBD. Now, they include the emanage which can hook up to any application, so essentially, the kit will bolt right on to a 94-99 GSR.

He wanted to be different so he got the HKS SSQV, which is better, IMO, than the Greddy Type-S.
