Default coolant loss!

I got very weird thing that my coolant is lost when the engine is cooled down. I added it full before drive and when I shut down the car and check the coolant level immediately nothing changed, but after like a few hours when the engine is cooled down, the coolant in reservior is gone. what could be the problem? BTW I just changed my radiator which is from radiatorbarn couple days ago. Some guy suggested me to buy a new cap, but I really didn't find any leaking around cap!
Someone can help me out?

fill it up with water for now. stop wasting your money on coolant until you find the problem.

fill it up, drive it around, put some cardboard on the ground under the engine, and let it sit overnight. if its leaking, youll have some stains on the cardboard. if no leaks, and you are still eating coolant, its most likely your HG. do you have any white smoke coming from the exhaust?

The reservoir is only for the expansion and contraction of coolant. When it is hot, it expands and flows into the reservoir and when it is cold, it contracts and flows back into the radiator.

If you can, get a couple cans of carb cleaner, jack the car up as high as you can, any where on the bottom if you see coolant either dried up or leaking spray it. (with the engine cold). Start it up and let it run. I found my coolant leak on my gsr like this, it was just a tube that had a pin hole in it.

I am saying that if you are basing your coolant level off what is in the reservoir, of course it will fluxuate. Now, if you open the radiator and constantly have to add coolant, that would be a different thing.

If you are losing as much coolant as you think you are, wouldn't there be a rather large coolant patch underneath the car after parking it for a while?

ya, you need to check the level in the radiator instead of the overflow tank. your cooling system may have air in it causing the loss of coolant in the overflow tank.
