I am saying that if you are basing your coolant level off what is in the reservoir, of course it will fluxuate. Now, if you open the radiator and constantly have to add coolant, that would be a different thing.

If you are losing as much coolant as you think you are, wouldn't there be a rather large coolant patch underneath the car after parking it for a while?
