95' GSR w/ 206k mi.
That car looks like its in great shape appearance wise. The only way to determine if it is worth buying is to drive it. 206K highway miles isn't too bad. I detailed a 93 Honda Accord last year with 270K miles and this thing still purred when I drove it.
and until you take it to a shop and have a compression test done nstuff.
I wouldnt worry so much about the engine (although I would as well), but all of the other components.
Timing Belt
Power Steering Pumps
Water Pump
etc. etc.

Especially with older, higher end Jap. supercars.
Man! What a ripoff! My bro-in-law was selling 96 LS with 74k (almost stock - minimal mods - spoler, exhaust) for 6000 and he could not sell it! Some lady almost gave him 5900 but then she backed out at the last moment. He finally sold it for 5000.
I say with these miles he WILL HAVE TO get down to at least 5k. Don'tg even talk to him if he doesn't!

I disagree. I bought my GSR from a rich middle aged woman. Now I'm pretty sure she didn't slap a turbo on my car....and she had plenty of money to have it serviced by Acura when it needed it.

7500 is a horrible price, i got mine for 5500 with 172,000 miles on it, and that seemed like a lot until i drove it. But mine had no mods and was owned by a salesman in his 30's. He told me he wouldn't have sold it if it were not for a new baby, and sure enough when i took ownership there was a brand new millenia with a baby seat in it, the point is that i felt i could trust him.

ummm...back to the old thing. if he is a honda tech, he was probably snagging his oil for nothing. get a compression test, drive it. check the condition of the belts, take the teg over the advance or auto zone. they can test the alternator for free. this car might be worth buying for more like 5500. u can always drop a rebuilt motor in her
. let us know what u do though
