Default kill switch

i was wondering how to go about installing a kill switch in my teg... do i just install a low-voltage switch in line with the ignition wires and then put it somewhere or is it more in-depth?
:edit:
or would it be better to connect it to the clutch (isnt there a switcht hat tells the car when the clutch is depressed before it can turn on?)

I'd install the switch in series with the "ON" wire from the ignition switch.

If you use a fuelpump cutoff switch, I highly using a relay at the locaion of the pump, and using a switch to control the relay. reduces resistance on the fuel pump wires.

My friend just hooked one up to his rear driverside window switch on the drive door. I think NO ONE will ever look there.

Actually, windowswitches are a very common place to do starter interrupts. I think most theives would look there first or second in their attempt to find it

Exaaaaactly. That's how I would do it for sure. It would also benefit you to just run the fuel pump directly to the battery (the wiring) then as a direct line is more efficient. Something to consider.

i can deal with the placing of the switch, my question is how do i go about wiring it in.. i want to keep it simplistic... so basicaly wha ti'm asking is there or isnt there a switch running to the clutch already to tell the car it's being depressed all the way
