Default Using Cold Air Intake in the rain

I recently put an Injen CAI to my 94 GSR, the manual says to take off the cold air extension in rainy seasons. I don't know about anybody else but i am not gonna spend a good 40 minutes to take off the extension just because the weather channel said it is gonna rain the next day. Is it really that bad to drive in wet weather?

Welcome to the board. Next time do a search...this has been covered many times before and has been beat to death. This thread pretty much sums everything up pretty well.

I believe if you edit your first post and hit delete you delete the whole thread.

Everyone here has a lot of knowledge to share...most of it we have already covered and debated. Always do a search on your question and if you don't find the answer ask away. We are all here to help each other.
