it it bad to cruise at 4000RPM+ for a long time?
I just made a ~700 mile round trip this weekend. For the first half of the trip, I had my cruise set at 78 (actually about 74mph). I ended up getting about 32mpg. On the way back I kept it at 71-72mph (actually about 67mph). I got 34mpg that time. I have gotten even better than that, but there were way too many construction zones that I had to keep slowing down for and then speeding back up. :madfawk:

You would waste gas trying to catch up to a 330, GTI's and A4's with an RS Auto? How cheap is your gas? We're up to about $1.65 94 over here.
And at 4000, you're only at half the fun

needless to say, state of california can suck my super bad emissions GSR for all its worth. I drive 110 all the damn time so I guess that means im almost half as bad as all those godamn SUV's I see my states legislative body driving in. the hell with them.
~90mph in a gsr tranny is like 4400 ish which is vtec range
when i cruise i range from 65 up to 85
i get like 300 miles between fillups, which i do approx every 9-10 gallons
so i think my mileage is good considering the speeds i go
