I street race all the time. I got issues!

but anyways yes this board do not take well to STREET RACING TOPICS. There are other boards out there that accept those topics.

When I first started coming on this board I was like " WTF you people are Fing retarted!" But once you get used to the direction of where this board is going you will understand. Goodluck. If I was a MOD I would have locked this Thread.

 

I completely understand peoples opinions on street racing. I have been involved in the scene here in Cali for quite some time, have lost friends on hwy 9, bailey runs, milpitas runs, even on the old berryessa runs. It sucks to go through it...I know, I have been living it for almost 10 years.

I DO NOT consider it a street racing story because :

A: No money was involved
B: No laws were broken

I no longer participate in illegal runs, because I agree, they do hurt our scene.

I usually keep my racing to SCCA Auto X.

As for the TOS, I do abide by it, while yes, this maybe a technical violation, I believe the positives of the overall story far outwiegh the negatives.

If I offended anyone...I apologize, but for god's sakes...life's tough,get a helmet!

i dont because it is illegal and INNOCENT people get hurt. too many people think that the reason that they shouldnt street race because it is against the law. the fact is you should not street race because innocent people die. its one thing if some yahoo slams his car into a wall because he was doing a buck twenty, that was his decision, but what if that same guy had lost control and ran over some kid. if nobody ever got hurt because of street racing then i would feel differently. i am sick of watching the news and hearing about this crap. save it for the track!
