Intake + water = bad
Gentlemen,
Until the OP returns with the CEL codes, we can't do anything but guess.
I personallly, have a hunch that he'll come back with "Cylinder Misfire" codes.
Since the motor still runs, he's probably dodged a bullet and only needs new spark plugs.
That said, I have to address two comments..

Not to bust balls, but you just said....

:nono: No. No. No. Talk about mis-information...
The absolute last thing you want to do is start dumping more fluids into the combustion chamber. That is a guaranteed way to compound the damage.
At best you'll blow a head gasket...at worst, you'll buckle a con-rod or demolish pistons.

i didnt mean litterally flush it out with oil....doesnt water eventually make it's way tot he oil pan and then gather blow the oil where it is picked up and thrown into the engine in major quantities? i'm no expert but i would assume thats what can happen...
well the check engine light went out. the sound went away so i think all the water's out. My friend's dad (mechanic/junk yard owner) said that it takes 50 miles for your car CEL to go off if there's no longer a problem with you car. So as i see it, its fine now. Thanks guys

CEL codes do not clear based on mileage.
Did you ever retrieve the code?
