I just installed my konis...
well I just installed my koni reds after driving on blown stock shocks for about a month. Two months ago I installed h&r sports springs on my 2000 integra without switching shocks, it didn't take long for them to blow. The car became bouncy and absolutley non sporty. Despite the good looks, the handling and joy of driving were gone......
well, I was fed up and got myself some koni reds. I called the koni techs, described my car, drop and driving conditions to them and they told me to give them a 3/4 turn prior to installing them, which would be equivalent to a half turn on the yellows. Guess the tech was right. My ride is perfect! Its stiff, rigid, and very sporty and responsive, yet the ride is so smooth and non bouncy! Its absolutely amazing! Guess you guys were right konis are definitely the way to go.
BTW, I have some pics of my car and my friends car along with pics of us installing the shocks....can anyone tell me how to post them here? I don't have a webspace where I can put them up? thanks...

got the reds for about half the price as I could have paid for the yellows...and I got them at cost too as I have some hook ups. Basically I have the same shock and ride as I would with the yellows but for a much cheaper price. I don't race my car in autocross or anything, so external adjustability is not really my concern.
BTW yesterday I drove on the the stretch of highway that I'd normally bottom out ie. tires would rub the fenders, atleast three times.. well no more rubbing, bottoming out or anything, my car is so f*cking stable that I know I'm going to get some ugly speeding tickets soon because I'm so tempted to just gun it anytime I see an open stretch of road.... konis + h&r are truly amazing.
peace
