first off I would recommend searching.... i'm sure this has been covered, but i'll humor you.

Need new console, transmission, clutch, fly(likely comes with transmission). All of the shifter linkage, shift knob, Clutch pedal(and all of the fluid cylinders and lines) Do auto's have tachs??? If not need a new gauge cluster... those are just the very basics, if you are planning on doing this yourself be prepared for some stress and some holes in your pockets.... likely best bet is to sell and get a manual. Just my 2 cents bro.

I can't tell you how to convert a manual to an auto but i could tell you that with the money you're spending, you might as well dish it out for a new motor.

if you can find a donor car, converting is not expensive at all.

and being cable clutch, it isnt that expensive either.

you need the pedal assembly (which i happen to have h: )

clutch cable, i think i also have that.
tranny/clutch/flywheel
shift linkage & stablizer/shifter
manual tranny ECU

you should be able to find everything you need at your local salvage yard. if you cant, g2ic.com is probably a good place to start looking.

nevermind what the rest of these guys say, if you need anymore help, just ask.

but the search feature is a good one, this has been covered dozens of times.

Don't listen to these people they basicaly don't know shit! Sorry guys but after reading what you typed you don't seem very bright on this topic.

Anyways james said what you need. You DO NOT NEED A manual ECU. you can use your auto ecu. Also Being that you are getting into a cable setup it makes thing so much easier. I have everything you need. Pedals,cable,B16 tranny, flywheel,Flywheel bolts(very important to have since there longer),Shift linkage, consule, I have everything but the clutch (since you will want it new anyways). I will give you everything for $550 and that's cheap! Since just the tranny cost me $500(got papers). Either way goodluck with your swap and DON'T buy another car. That just sucks. It feels better knowing you did something your own car. Goodluck.

I am also thinking of doing the swap somewhere in the future, and I hate when people say "buy a new engine" or "just buy a manual car"... its not that expensive to do it, all you need is time, and some extra cash. I have a 97 and I wouldn't even get a new center console, I'ma just gonna attempt to remove the old auto guts and cut out the auto shifter plastic plate and fit a custom leather boot to it :/ Cmon guys, have a little faith! ;p

(Also, why would you buy a new engine when you can have a higher compression, ls/vtec 5 spd for less than the couple grand of buying the gsr engine and labor to put it all in?)
