Socal especially is notoriously horrendous when it comes to cops, their attitude, and disposition. Its not our fault everyone stepped on them in high school, but it becomes our problem. Sorry to hear that bro, when you get slapped with something like that you just feel helpless, it ****ing sucks. But try to get all the documentation that you can to build your case. The more evidence you have to provide the judge with, the stronger and more credible your case will seem, while the officer has only his word. Good luck dude.

They give you shit for a bit, might call another cop up to "verify"... but since I got the sheet, the "routine" stops have gotten shorter because they realize they got someone who knows their shit and has taken the steps to be legal and prove it.
I highly reccomend doing it if you have an Evo and an Integra.

I don't have to worry about the exhaust anymore since the turbo quiets it down. The funniest thing is, is that I got pulled over the night that I began installing the turbo. Now I just need to worry about them getting curious as to what is under the hood when they hear the psssssst everytime I shift. I went back to stock rims, so the chances of being pulled over is much less than when I had my big gaudy rims on.

Ya, I do the same thing now, cuz showing them the paper says u know your laws and they got served.
One time I got pulled over for my exhaust cuz it was loud. It was a generic N1 with custom piping. No cat :fawk: That shit was loud they said they heard me coming from a block away (and I would agree
)I shoulda turned my engine right when I pulled to the side, cuz they smelled that shit lol. Then like 5 other cop cars came and they made a big scene and checked under my hood and wrote me up for my exhaust, headers, intake. $500 gone.
