cold air intake
actually it is possible for water to get into the combustion chamber even if the filter isn't submerged. however, if the velocity stack gets soaked enough, the suction of the intake could pull water through the filter's "pores" and get some water in there. won't be enough to hydrolock the motor, but enough to prevent spark.
i got an O1 GSR with a comptech ice box, but i have skunk2 cams, cam gears, skunk2 intake, COmptech headers, and apexi n1 exhaust and a apexi vtec controller and that ice box works wonders if u going to switch up to a single stage mainfold def. get the comptech ice box, worth the money won't suck up water.....
i use a homemade intake system....i use a comptech air filter (www.comptechusa.com) with the top of my airbox removed, and it serves its intended purpose without the worry of water-loc or sucking shit into my motor

I personally bought it, cuz i did not want to deal with "that thing u hve to put in ur intake by cutting the piping" (cant think of it off the top of my head).
