i heard that shortshifters are no good for the DC's...even the good ones. I know an excellent driver (carta79) and he had a skunk2 and took it out and put back his stock one. I say keep the oem one in there its not that high and it works perfect

You know, I probably will end up putting it in...thats why I had to get someone to tell me how!! I'll just have to steal his kerosene heater!!
....and I don't think it'll do any bad to my car...it is my daily driver but now that its been sitting in my backseat for months I can't not put it in!!

Part of the reason I took it out was because I was grinding my syncros. That's my own fault though for shifting like a madman, my tranny didn't like the quick shifts. So yeah it's back to the OEM shifter which I don't mind at all, I can shift quick with no problems.

Oh and that team-integra article tells you to unbolt the exhaust B pipe from the converter which I don't think is necessary. I easily dropped my shift linkage without unbolting the exhaust.

I work for a honda/acura ASE MASTER technician whos been in the industry over 20 years. So don't tell me that is a stupid statement, its harder on the tranny. It really depends on how you run your car also, so its what ifs and buts and maybes lol
