88 Acura Integra stalling

88 Acura Integra stalling

Hi,

I have a 1988 Integra. The car seems to be stalling or hiccupping at times. The car had problems previously with oil getting into the spark plugs. Could it be the same problem? I also changed the fuel filter. What could be the problem?

Any suggestions would be aprreciated.

That could be the problem. Has the car been sitting for a while? Need more info on what's going on.

How often do you need to tune-up 1988 integra?

Sounds like fouled plugs...most likely due to oil contamination. Leaking valve stem seals are a candidate for any engine that old, that has seen some intense work.

Without more info on when the car acts up, I can only speculate.
