DIY Icebox
it's not a ram-air setup... but the bumper isnt airtight. air will go past the gaps between the signal and the bumper and in the grill. so there is some air current going into the tube.

on the integra dc the intake dose not go down behind the turn signal unless the hows its manufacutred but most drop down by the radiator. Or at least the old aem that I had did. And wraping the intake reflects heat away from it keeping the air charge cooler which is supposed to help slightly with hp.
he was talking about a cai i think, which also does go behind the turn signal.
Anyways,im very tempted to try one of these iceboxes,or fabricating one myself, does anyone have any ideas on how to maximize the effects?LT6916 said somthing about trying to sand out the interior,or smoothing out,the inside of the stock air box, what other factors would matter?what would be the BEST size for the inlet hole on the bottom of the air box be,and what would be the best diameter of the actual hose that leads to it?
I think LT6916 said somthing about the inlet of the hose being smaller than the actual hole on the bottom of the stock airbox, creating more pressure?
Anyways,i just paid for a stock air box,to play around with,if anyone has some ideas, tell me.

there are 2 "behind the turn signal" places:
comptech icebox - inlet is right behind signal, facing front of car
CAI - velocity stack is behind signal but facing out against right side of bumper, next to right wheel plastic guard.
