Smurfette's Confession of the Day: Sometimes, I take on those crappy late 80's civics that those dern messicans drive and have all "suped" (and by suped I mean RICED THE HELL OUT OF; I mean stickers up the ying-yang, red tint, chromed out colored wiper blades, nozzle lights, spinner hubcaps) up and race the hell out of just for shits and giggles. And by jove, it makes me feel like a winner everytime.
Thanks for listening. I will now do 3 hail mary's.
hellz yeah, str33t racing 4 life y0!!!

(In regards to original thread question... I believe there are good responses in this thread on what to do. For right now, I agree with dumping the muffler, and getting a "real" exhaust system. It doesn't seem like suspension mods are what you need, if you won't be doing autox or such.
IMO, find the limits of your stock suspension settings, then upgrade based on what you want the car to handle like. Just my 2 cents.)

My friend said the same thing about seeing what the stock ones can handle before I decide exactly what to upgrade to.

Do each mod one at a time... to get the full effect of how each one will benefit the car.
Okay...I guess I could ask said friend, but ehhhh, he's not here at the moment.
Sooo...how exactly would one find out what the stock ones can handle? Does it say in the manuel or somewhere?

No, not in a manual. I meant you should try and run in a local autoX or some kind of driving event where you can use your own car on a track (or parking lot with cones). Drive your car to its limits, in a safe environment (like an autoX), and decide whether you need to upgrade your suspension. That is what I am doing, I am pretty confident that I know the limits of my stock suspension now, and I am looking into possible suspension upgrades.
How are you going to be able to tell the huge difference of your modified suspension without ever have reached the limits of your stock setup?
Just wait it out a little, get to know every aspect of your car like the back of your hand, then begin upgrading.
Again, just my advice if you want to be taken seriously by anybody who is serious about driving performance, not just drag-racing or boulevard bruising... unless you are only looking to drag, in which case I feel

Sorry, I just re-read the original post, and noticed you just want your car to look and sound nice.
Looks... do whatever you like, it's your car.
Sound, basicaly the same, but I have an opinion if you are referring to exhaust tone... RS*R ExMag. :goodjob:
