I've been thinking of buying an integ without an engine(the whole story is in my "2 cars into 1 post")...But how hard is it to install an engine.
Since it is the original engine it should go in prettty smooth, but how long does a job like this take?? And what kind of mechanical experience is needed??

 

If it's just you doing the job...pretty much a full weekend to two weekends. Depends how knowledgable you are in droping an engine in. A Helms manuel is a good idea to get just in case you get into trouble. The hardest part to me is the wiring harness....figuring what goes to what.
