Default Too many miles?

Ok I am looking at a 93' Integra which is really awesome and had all the mods that i was looking for. The problem? There are about 160-165k miles on it. How many more miles will this car take? I'm just looking for a car to use for a few years until I can buy new, but how long will a car like this last me? I drive about one hour everyday to and from work etc. Should I go for it or should I keep looking? I only have 2 weeks to find a car anyways. Please help!

A lot of g2 tegs have over 200,000 miles on them (including mine) but it depends on how it was taken care of. Have it checked out to see if there are any major things wrong with it. The minor stuff is minor and should be expected with a car with that many miles. FYI, since 165,000 miles I've had to replace the clutch ($600 installed), get a rebuilt alternator ($350 installed), rebuilt master brake cylinder ($50), new front calipers ($100), new fan timing control unit ($130), new oxygen sensor ($25), new front brake rotors ($50 Brembo blanks!), but nothing really major, hehe. I should be good for a while though. It also helps if you can do some labor on your own, you'll save a buttload of money. Good luck.

Get a compression test to see how strong the motor is.

Yea id say get the compression and leakdown test just to make sure everything is all still in good working order, then go from there.

check it out. Mods on the car could be bad. It was probably raced or driven harder than it would be without mods.
