where would you draw the line on purchasing a car with xxx,xxx miles? i'd have to say 200k is where i draw the line..yet i bought my current car with 188k

i ask b/c im lookin to pick up a beater for backup incase my current beater bites the dust

 

depends on how well the car was taken care of. My car had 92k miles, but was in very good shape.

Depends on how well the car was taken care of.

We have a '94 Turbo LS at the shop with 186K on the odometer, threw on a Turbonetics T3/T4 9psi and has been running that setup for 8 months no problems. No oil burning or anything.

Motor was taken care of and the turbo was installed and tuned properly.

Teh win.

i bought my 94 LS with 149k on it, i just did a tune up and that thing runs like a champ, just needs rotors and a rear mount that i already ordered :exnbp:
