I purchased my Exedy Organic Clutch from www.clutchcityonline for a great price, like $269.00 with free shipping. I believe I paid a little bit more for my flywheel, Fidanza 9lb Flywheel from a group buy on GBC.

I thoroughly enjoy my combination, although I have heard some negative comments on Exedy. I however, have encountered no problems.

I havent seen anything terribly wrong with the ACT flywheels...I say Fidanza because thats what Ive had more experience with. Prices are similar, and I know they are engineered properly. ACT Im not so sure about since my experience with them is limited.

I have the ACT hdss and the pedal feels just a little stiffer than stock but nothing you can't get over. Also got the streetlite flywheel which is pretty good for me I thiought about the prolite but this is still my commuter. I can say that once you drop the accelerator and get into Vtec the tach jumps towards that 8000 rpm redline like it's his date on prom night. Can just imagine what the lighter flywheels are like.

no problems launching, clutch catches quick and is ready to go if not for my cheapo 205/50/15 falkens that have a hard time biting asphalt well i guess it could be my suspension hurting my grip when launching but no problems with clutch going on 800 miles with it soon. and yes hdss street/strip is correct

I'm also considering getting the ACT streetlite flywheel (but with the Exedy racing clutch) for my 94 accord, but I wanted to get opinions on light vs. stock flywheels before I take the plunge. I know everyone says the lighter ones accelerate faster (and decelerate quicker as well) but aside from that - what is the downside (if any) to having a lighter flywheel? I've seen people post that shifting is a little weird and that you get used to it, but what do they mean by that? I'm not racing this car, but I am going to boost it (only 8 lbs or so) and quicker acceleration would be nice. Any feedback or comments would be great.
