On 5/5/04 my civic was stolen, the one in my avatar/sig. We just settled with the insurance co., and got about $9500 out of the deal, which is not what I would have liked, but Im not horribly dissapointed.
Anyway, Im totally at a loss for what to do in terms of my next car. The fact my car was taken, in broad daylight across the street from my highschool, really makes me doubt whether or not I should get another honda. Ive made so many friends through the import scene, and my honda was such a big part of my life the 5 months I had it, I would really hate to leave the honda world, but on the other hand I dont think I could stand to have another car stolen.

At first, my plan was to get a 94-95 integra with low miles for around 6k and use the leftover money to boost it, and leave it somewhat sleeper-ish. This plan kinda fell through though, considering every owner of the integras I looked at wouldnt even sell for close to blue book. I dunno whether to try to get a teg/civic and make it a sleeper, get a newer teg or civic and leave it stock, or just get something totally different, maybe a truck or an older bmw/audi. There are pos/neg's to all of these options, and right now I have no idea what I want to do next. Any input or recommendations for a car in the 9k range will be appreciated.

 

What kind of car do you want? 2 door or 4 door? Do you want a family car or something sporty? Get a 5th gen Accord and swap a H22 into it or a 4 door GSR.

 

Why not another Civic? Maybe even an EJ? :dunno:

 

Everyone has a Civic, IMHO you'd want something unique.

Well Accord's aren't that unique either. Chances are, if you're going with a Honda, pretty much everyone is going to have what you have.

I still say EJ.

 

I see fewer Tegs and Accords here than Civics. I've only seen a handful of 4 door Tegs in this town.

Its really not about originality, I really dont care too much...if I did I wouldnt have bought a civic in the first place.

Id rather have a 2 dr, but Id def. be happy with a four door integra. Im thinkin I might look into preludes, but we'll see what happens. Honestly, I really have no idea what I want to do most right now, cus I really want another honda, but really dont want another honda of mine to get stolen.
