Default spoon themostat

hi, anyone know spoon themostat will fit for non-vtec teg engine? i check the OE one. the gsr and ls have the same themostat. but i check the spoon website, it is only for vtec engine. anybody knows?

i called the acura dealer today and confirm LS and GSR are using the same themostat. so do you guys think the spoon will fit for my LS? please help!

yes it will fit.

get the switch to turn the fan on earlier also.

it helps keep it even coooler.

anyone know how to install a themostat switch? i know how to install the themostat. any website for installation?

Do yourself a favor, save some $...go to Autozone, get a Stant thermostat. Its the same thing as the Spoon thermo.

old ass thread but what are the cons of putting in a low temp thermostat in a daily driver?

engine runs cooler than its originally made to run at(obviously). Im pretty sure itll make your emissions a little worse becuase your engine is running colder making it harder for fuel to vaporize.
