Guages.
how much work is done to your car?
A/F guage is stupid if you dont get a wideband O2 sensor to go with it.... if you use the stock sensor, you just have a light show in your car.
Oil Pressure isnt a bad idea, since we only have lights in our cars, it can help keep an eye on your oil and if you are burning or have a leak, it is an especially good idea
I dont see a need for watertemp but im sure somebody else will argue that its a good one to have...

Unless you're driving the shit out of the car or it's heavily modified, the stock gauges are for the most part sufficient. Oil pressure might be alright but meh, it seems kind of pointless on a mostly-stock car.
Oil Pressure is a good idea on any car stock or modified.
Water Temp is nice to have so you know what temp your actually running at and not just yep it's about the middle of the C and H.
Air/Fuel as mentioned before is a waste unless you are going to invest in a wideband 02 sensor to go with it.

I agree....for a mildly modded car, none are necessary. Oil Pressure is nice, but if youre not a retard or have the worst luck in the world...its not a big deal.
People still dont seem to understand why one gets an A/F guage...I swear Im going to correct this every single time I see it until people stop regurgitating the phrase "its just a light show."
An AF guage on a stock sensor is a safety tool, not a tuning tool. You dont need a wideband to effectively use an AF guage. If you spring a fuel leak, or for some reason your ECU decides to not deliver fuel or whatever the case may be, you'll find out real fast. How else would you do this? A fuel pressure guage. Now compare the costs of an FP guage vs an AF guage, and tell me again its a waste of money.
AF Guage = cheap, effective tool to make sure a/f is a safe condition.
