Default Help. Another problem with Indiglo guages

I just installed my guages on my 1990 honda accord and They are not functioning quite right. Sometimes when I turn the car over they do not turn on and other times they do but i cannot adjust the intinsity. But whenever i just turn on the electrical system without starting the car they work fine. wierd?

I tried wireing the guages into a few adjacent power sources with no luck so i just spliced the power going to my stereo and they worked. Should I re-wire them back to the fuse box or something?

Thanks for any help you could offer.

Did you follow the instructions?

I hooked mine up to the wires coming from the dash light dimmer. (left hand side w/ the knob) It was easy. My gauges came w/ 2 wires. I just spliced those and they work fine. No problems what so ever!

I followed the instructions but they did not seem to work on the dimmer switch. The transformer that it came with makes a buzing noise so maby its bad. I might return it.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea to do... because it should work when you hook it up to the dimmer switch...

I have probs with my reverse indiglo gauges in my 5th Gen accord. I hooked them up to my dimmer switch and i can adjust them and everything but sometimes they just seem to flicker like hell i dont know whats weong with them. could the transformmer possible be bad if so is there anyway that i can get that at radio shack or something or I would have to get a whole new set of reverse indiglo gauges.
