Hey guys so i installed a set of white face guages and now apparently the gas and temp guages dont work anymore.....if any of you know where i can take it to be fixed or how much honda would charge me please lemme know thanks

 

you didn't happen to touch or move them when you installed your guages did you?

it may cost a pretty penny at Honda, maybe 100+

 

yeah they got moved a bit and the gas needle actually came off... i guess thats bad huh???

 

One time I was trying to replace the LED light for my gas light... While back there I moved my gas guage a little... Before it didn't really work... and now it does... so I dont think that's the problem. Did you double check that you plugged everything back in?

 

yeah but the gas guage i think actually broke off and i stuck it back in forcefully sooo i guess im screwed but i dunoo why the temp one doesnt work

 

hm......the only problem can be that the plug ins arent plugged in correctly. The gas and temp gauge share the same plug in, so check that.

 

btu since the gas needle cam out of its little hole doesnt that mean its broken and i need to replace it now??

 

maybe not...

 

most people who break off the needles, end up living w/o the guage, or replacing the cluster. You can also buy replacement temp/gas guages to put into your cluster, but they run about $90 each new.

 

Is it hard to install jsut the gas or temp guage cuz i figured out i def broke the gas one and is it possible that the temp isnt working just cuz the gas is broke if they run off the same plug..
