I sent an IM to Phil, we'll see if he's interested.

What everyone must realize (and I have no idea what the wholesale prices are) is that there is potentially a low profit margain for these or any tires and the aggrevation potential is high with relation to payment, shipment, crazy demands or requests.

I'm just speculating when I say that the last deal/buy with whomever may have been long ago enough that there were manufacturers rebates afforded to the shop/seller or other incentive through Falken themselves to promote the new or newer Azenis Sports, that would make it a worthwhile deal and or promotion.

In all honesty, I've only seen their price go up maybe 2-4 dollars since introduction, and imho they are Still a steal.

If there will be a group buy from anyone, I'm almost positive they'd restrict it to one size, and the most popular size for us looks like 205/50/15.

We'll see, I may also call Vulcan tire unless someone else has done so?

has anyone checked out splittingimagez.com. for a set of 215/45/16 they are only like 95 bucks. maybe they could nix the shipping charges or something if we get enough people buying them.

I usually buy my Falkens from Vulcan, so I dropped them a line.

that don't make our group buys worthwhile to everyone. The rules are:
The discounts of the tire prices start at: 5% and got up based on volume
1.) The tires must be purchased with one (or several) certified check(s) or
moneyorder(s).
2.) All the tires must be shipped to the same location.

So basically someone on the group will have to organize the money and
everything and place one order for all the tires, we generally will offer a
larger discount to the person organizing the buy.

Also, we have quite a backorder list for the 15 inch Azenis so we are
hesitant to do a group buy for these tires right now.
Sounds like you could talk them into it, but it'll be a bit of bother compared to other group buys.

Perhaps we could get Victor or one of the other small retailers interested in coordinating the effort and the shipping.

Ok, so how many do we want?

Chris, RJ, George, anyone want to tally up or open it to another forum to get as many as possible? And Very obviously he would want to stick with one size (being the 205/50/15).

Ball is back in your court guys... I'll talk to him again when we get some more specific numbers.
