My first Integra. Need some advice
Hello.
I am new to the Integra world. I just bought a 92 RS. it is in pretty good shape and am going to eventually turn it into a project car.
I guess my first question would be "what should I look out for in the way of problems?"
I know they are good cars but it is older. there is a squeek in the front end.
I believe it is the bushings in the upper, or lower control arm. is that a common problem?
the engine is good, and the body needs a little work. but not too bad.
any input would be appreciated and I will see you around the boards.
thanks a lot
Robbie

Good stuff, guys keep it coming.
I already bought my '91, but I appreciate anything to look out for.
How do the clutches on these hold up?
Are water pumps a trouble point?
How would you check the injectors?

First off, welcome to HAN. Enjoy your stay with us.
My first piece of advice would be to get your hands on a factory manual. That'll give you relevant info on service intervals and replacement procedures, etc.
FYI, in my 97 DC Integra, the stock clutch lasted until 98K, and I replaced my T-Belt, H2O pump and tensioner at 90K. Overall, these cars have durable motors and drivetrains, and brillant chassis response. Very entertaining cars.
So again, welcome to the board. :goodjob:
