Default integra CV joints

how hard is it to change these? it looks extremely difficult and messy . I am really having a tough time what I Need is A really good pep talk from someone who has performed this Job and knows the best way to do it

I h ave rebuilt about 500 axles in my time. what's the problem? how can I help?

I think I have all the right tools and can get Remanufacted axles for 69$ apeice. How long should this job take?

your first time, you can plan on about 1 hour per axle.

thats not bad first caliper then 32 mm nut then lower control thenwhat?

Here's the section from my Helms manual on the driveshafts. It's a '93 manual so if you have a '94-'01 car not everything might be the same but it should give you a good general idea.

break the ball joint loose(17mm), then remove the hub from the lower arm. then take off the 32mm axle nut, then pop the axle out of the trans carefully using a screwdriver or prybar, then take off the wishbone mount(17mm) on the lower part of the strut, then take it off at the strut(14mm). break that loose, slide the trut out of the way to take off the wishbone, then you're home free.

thank's for all the help this is going to be fun now that I know what I am doing. the hard part now is trying to convince my wife to let me spend some money on car parts. she always says we don't have any money last time i checked we had all kinds of money. well you know how wives and sports cars get along.

the hardest part about working on your axles...is getting them back in by yourself. if you are doing it by yourself, you'll see what i'm talking about.
