So if the tank is 12.2 gallons, or 13.2 gallons, why is my gas light always going on and I fill up with less than 10 gallons? That should leave 2-3 gallons in the tank?

FULL tank should be 13.2 G = 50 Liters

i can still drive another 100~150 km after the light came on
which means you should be able to hit another 80 miles after
the light came on.

after major tune-up of my 2k teg
i hit around 320 miles = 510+ KM (in city)
which is cool.... and now i am with regular 87 gas.... just to test out the result.

yeah, these lights are stupid proof. i'm not sure exactly when they come on, but i do know that i can put in at least another 60 miles or so on the car when it first comes on. my fill-ups are usually 11-12 gallons. the most i've ever put in was 12.5 gallons, and the light had been on forever (needle was well past the E, hehe).

i dont under how u guys get get more that 300 mpg to a tank. Since my i first bought my car brand new i only acheived that couple times by going on a road trip. Right now i have half a tank of gas left and the tirpodometer is reading 122 miles. so i get 122 miles to half a tank. for this tank, i havent ran the a/c nor have i punched the gas. A buddy of mine told me that the gasoline in this area was oxidized, but i dono what that could do.

Switch to 5w-30 viscosity oil if you aren't already using it. It boosted my MPG to around 27 when I was getting 24 before.

I get around 270miles to a full tank. When I go to the fillup on E (directly, I only put in about 9.4 gallons in) wherein the actual fillup is 13. I have 261 currently on my tripometer and it is directly on the E as well. I remember looking at the tripometer when it was on half tank and it read about 124 also. I'm not sure if I'm having the same type of "problem" or situation as you are but I am experiencing the same thing.
