Clutch pedal clicks when released halfway
Okay, this problem started today. I was driving and when I was almost to my house. I noticed when I released my clutch, I heard it like click and I could feel it on my pedal when it did this. So I did it over and over and sure enough, right about half we released it would CLICK.
So I had my dad get under the hood while I pressed the clutch in and out to see if he can here where the clicking is coming from and visa versa. So we both found that it sounds like its coming from or near the slave cylinder. Even when it clicks you can feel the click on the Slave cylinder.
So we take the line off, and the bolts holding the slave cylinder. Take it apart and notice the grim inside of it, so we clean it well. Put all new fluid in the resevior and bleed it until all new fluid comes out.
I pump the clutch a bit, no noise at all. Start the car, take it for a ride, I even notice my clutch engages alot sooner than before, which was good for me. Well after like 10 minutes or so, it makes the click noise again when half released, and my clutch feels like it engages in the same spot as before.
So do you think I need a new Slave Cylinder or a rebuild kit for it? or any other ideas what the problem is, thanks!!

Mine clicks on/off, but it hasn't in months. I'm not sure if it's the same kind of click as yours or not--my click sounded like it came from the pedal itself.
How do your master and slave cylinders look? How many miles on your clutch?

I hear this all the time in my GSR and I know I'm leaking bad from the clutch master cylinder seals. These seem to be a problem prone to Integra's and you seem to displaying one of the symptoms. Can you reach your hand up to where the clutch master cylinder goes through the firewall and feel any leaks or wetness on your fingers?
well this is like a hard click, and you can feel it on the pedal like its coming from the pedal, but its not. And it has a new clutch, only like 300 miles on the clutch, the master cylinder looks fine, slave cylinder looks fine after we cleaned it up. Yeah we checked the other day on the inside if the master cylinder is leakin, and its not haha.
Another person told me, who had the same problem, that the spring in the slave cylinder needs to be replaced. And this seems logical, cause when we'd push that little ball on the slave cylinder down, then release it fast, it would go out, then like pause, then fully release.
So maybe i'll see if i can get a rebuild kit for the slave cylinder... :-)

Yeah, if you feel any fluid or see it even...time to change the master cylinder. My friend's GSR had this happen about a year ago. It got to the point where he could hardly shift at all. I helped him swap a new one in; it's easy.
i dunno, i'll try and get prices tomorrow, but i dont have a Honda Dealer anywhere near me, so Checker, Napa, CarQuest, here we come haha, as long as it works, its okay for me :-), even though i preffer OEM, just not its price lol
