which shocks you recommend for 2 inch or more drop

If you guys REALLY want your cars that low and want then to handle good you need a true coilover that handles stroke independent of height (i.e Zeal B6, TEIN RE, JIC FLTA2)

I inadvertently left out the Flex's. They have the height independent stroke as well. Even revalving won't fix your stroke length delimas from extreme loweing of the car. But revalving would be good for custom spring rates.
There's really no advantage performance wise to have the car so low, and to do it well requires so much extra investment (i.e. full coilovers with an adjustable lower mount). Shortened Konis and Ground Controls, when set with proper corner weights at a moderate drop, and aligned well, will perform just lovely. It's only when you get into super track-specific setups that you would really need the car lower, or of course if you just have to be "tuckin tire" or some nonsense.

I'd tend to agree with Mr Fat but his post is gone (I got the email but it isn't in here).
To explain, lowering a car isn't always the answer or the solution to better handling. In fact lowering a lot of times can worsen the handling of a car even if performance shocks and springs are on the car. Ground Control Sleeves and Koni's will do a great job and the true key to this is proper hieght setting for the shock and good valving for the spring chosen
