I'd tend to agree with Mr Fat but his post is gone (I got the email but it isn't in here).

To explain, lowering a car isn't always the answer or the solution to better handling. In fact lowering a lot of times can worsen the handling of a car even if performance shocks and springs are on the car. Ground Control Sleeves and Koni's will do a great job and the true key to this is proper hieght setting for the shock and good valving for the spring chosen
