Default Fastline Performance Road Race shifter installed!

Let's see how it works. I've hit a few snags, mainly CEL #41, probably due to me trying to move the exhaust out of the way to gain clearance (which is a must) and hitting the OT sensor against something.

Also, my shifter doesn't rebound back to the center like the OEM did. If I come out of 1st, it rebounds to the center, but coming out of 5th it doesn't. Hmmm, don't know if I like that. Let's see how she performs in the coming days.

It's not there for looks or to garnish attention to my interior, it's there because it works and definitely makes the task of shifting easier.

stock shifter with poly bushings is the best choice.

are the throws very long now? how does it make the task easier? besides the extra leverage you have.

Because of the way it was manufactured, the throw remains the same. It's basically a stock shifter, just a lot closer to your steering wheel, which is it's biggest selling point. The time it take to take a hand off the steering wheel while going 100+ down a straightaway to shift can be reduced if the shifter is closer to the steering wheel, which this does.
