What is wheel hop? Does it happen in itrs a lot? What is a side-step start too? I heard some guy say that when he was talkin about launching at 8000 rpm.

 

Wheel hop is when launching a car and the wheels are spinning they begin to "bounce", which is harsh on axles and everything. Side step cant occur with LSD cars that launch and the car does not move at first but yet spins tires and moves to the left or right some.
