Default Dyno

I will be Dynoing my GSR next week wit AEM SRI, Apexi N1 cat-back, Car sound 2.5 high flow, DC JDM ITR 4-1 Header and Apexi V-AFC2. Back in september with just SRI and Cat back i put down 161whp. Now im looking to put down 170+ with this basic set up now. I was wondering what other minimum mod I can get between now then next week that will help out a little on the Dyno, FPR?.

161 is not bad at all...maybe you could advance your timing a few degrees, and then set it back if you're just looking for some dyno numbers.

161 with just an intake and exhaust? you're gonna have to show me that one because i dont believe it. usually with I/H/E, GSR's only put down around 150, maybe 155 for a strong motor. what kind of dyno was it on?

You don't need cam gears to advance your timing, you just turn the distributor rotor. If you do end up doing it though, be sure you are running as high an octane fuel as you can, maybe even some octane booster will help.

I can care less what you dont believe and not intresting in proving anything to you. If you dont have any sugestions as to what the topic pertains to then you have nothing to say.

I put down 169/122 with: AEM CAI, JDM ITR 4-1, high flow cat, no PS belt and VAFC (after tuning it). Catback added 0whp and lose 15mid range until retuned, then midrange came back and it added just over 1whp up top.. stock exhaust is back on my car.

Anyways, you likely don't need an FPR at this point, IMO cam gears will suit you more. Since you should be using the cam gears and the vafc for tuning now, make sure that either yourself or the tuner at the shop has an idea of how to tune the car.

For tuning for a certain AFR, put the wideband sensor in front of the cat....

Oh and I'm betting the dyno he used was a dynojet which is also what I used. My car put down 152 with just the CAI.

yea I used a Dyno jet, Im not following what u said about ur cat back causing a loss in HP so can u explain it a little more?. I would like to get cam gears but i dont really feel like spending money to get them installed now when im going to have to get Cam shafts installed later.
