Default Integra LS Suggestions

I have a stock 94 integra LS, I am looking for more HP. What would you suggest to keep it reliable but to add HP for not too much. Any ideas of what I should do. Also what can I do to add torque. Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, Crower makes decent cams, if you wish to stay with a mild N/A build and not tempt fate with a Frankenstein B18B. But if you have the available funds, I'd strongly recommend the GReddy (50-state emission legal) Bolt-on Turbo Kit and the Type 23 FMIC.

I drove a local shop's demo car about a week ago, and was truly amazed with the reponsiveness, power, and nearly imperceptible lag. It dynoed in at apx 220hp/165tq on an internally stock motor. Only addition was a GReddy EVO catback.

For apx. $3200 installed, it's a healthy chunk of change, I'll admit. But the transformation was astounding.

OTOH, if another 20-30hp is all you're after, then a shop like DPR can do a fair-bit of headwork on your stock B18B head. In addition to cams and fractionally higher compression, that would be another avenue to persue. So would a 50-shot ZEX nitrous system (although filling the tank constantly might be a pain).

If you're going to buy a greddy kit, you might as well install if yourself. It is very bolton, and idiotproof.

my plan for my b18b is a mild n/a build and possibly a small shot of nitrous. right now i have an AEM CAI, Greddy stainless header, and a apexi ws cat back. my plans are crower 62403 cams, cam gears, skunk2 IM, aem pulleys, bigger TB, and some type of ECU mod.. im not sure what that'll produce, but hopefully i can take down lightly modded GSRs with that.

it may be true but if you're gonna go thru the trouble of putting different cams in, why not get something that is worth it? for example, crower stage 2 cams add 18hp..

now that i think about it, dont b20s make less hp than b18a/bs? if thats the case i dont understand why b20 cams would add any hp to a b18a/b.
