Thanks a lot for the input... I'm going to change the clutch now. Have the part and all. I'll let you all know what happens. What can cause this to happen tho?

wear and tear really, I was just driving one day and mine died on me, really sucked because I wasn't doing anything wrong with it...


...you bought a clutch without actually checking the problem though?

Yes, but I did check into it a lot before I bought it, and determined, no matter what, I'd need a new clutch.

Its your pressure plate, same thing happened to mine last January, you can drive it like that for a while, but you should get it fixed soon, and change the clutch and throw out bearing while you're at it, mine ran about $750, dealership wanted about 1200
