i will check the TB gasket tonight, but it came with the throttle body, the only thing i think might have happened is that i have the gasket ass back wards. Ill read that honda tech stuff and let yall know how that that throttle body check goes.

ok. so i spent a few hours tuning and checking everything on my new set up, and it runs great as long as i stay away from low rpm starts or gear changes, in which case the car will shake a like its got a kid learning how to drive a stick for the first time behind the wheel. I am not sure if this is due to a vacuum line? If you have any vacuum line diagrams or pics of ur engine bay with the skunk2 intake manifold that would help a ton, or if its caused by a throttle body that is sticking or just needs to be adjusted. I should make the note that all i have dont to the engine is the CAI, throttle body 65mm, and intake manifold, my exhaust header and test pipe will be put on this weekend. Could this jerking at lower rpm's under load be caused by the weird air fuel mixtures the car is seeing with out the use of a Fuel pressure regulator? Hopefully ive provided yall with enough details that u can understand my situation better. Let me know what u think.

Well i think ive figured it out, the throttle body is to big for the current application, but i dont do much driving where it interferes at this point and dont see any way that it could be harming my engine, so i am gonna leave it on because i will be constantly adding power adding parts for a few months, hopefully capping the whole thing off with some spoon cams. Should prove beneficial at that point.

You should not need an FPR at this point. But since the P72 ECU is designed with the dual intake manifold in mind you could be running a little leaner than normal. But I have not heard of anyone with that problem.

Chances are the throttle body is the issue. If you have your stock one I would put that back on. At this point you are not going to be needing the larger TB.

here are pictures of my skunk2 manifold and ericks racing throttle body :

what kind of throttle cable and bracket are you using? i recommend the ITR cable and bracket, that's what I used. Bracket didn't line up even then.

If you put on a new throttle body, and had you swap over the tps sensor then you may not of set the tps on properly.

When I did the swap, I used all the ports on the skunk2 manifold to get the evap system all setup. I had to use a t bracket to run two of the lines onto one port of the skunk2 manifold.

If your cable is on properly. it should have 10-12 mm of deflection when you tug on the throttle cable. I had issues of the throttle sticking but it was my throttle body. I had to retorque the butterfly screws to get it to fit. I could take my foot off the gas, and the throttle would stick.
