Please don't drive while you are on pain killers. A car is heavy machinery.

Anyway, All the crap you would have to do and all the cash involved its probably a better idea to find a good deal on an auto, besides its just an LS, tons of autos are available.

What, yeah right, autotrader only have like 2 in my price range of 7500k and I got this one for 72k, which I think is not bad, however, what do you people think, my set up is 65k miles, silver, and the rest of the specs are in my signature.

If you just had surgery, i would lay off the knew so you don't make it worse. I had knee surgery and was worried about shifting myself. It does not hurt my knee at all. Infact I think it is good exercise for it. Just give your knee time to heal

If you find the LS slow as it now, spending $2000 to convert to an auto is not wise at all. Especially when it sounds like this is a temporary disability.

My advice would be to lay off the knee until you get a clean bill of health from the doc. Once your knee is back in shape, take that 2 grand, sort out the suspension and wheels (don't skimp on tires, whatever you do).

From there on, look into the GReddy bolt-on Turbo Kit. It's 50-state emissions legal and will provide a very nice boost in wheel hp & torque.

Most of all, though, learn the car's strengths. The brilliant chassis the DC platform Integra is blessed with allows for much faster corner speeds than other heavier and more basic machinery. There is a marked shift in driving style for an Integra as opposed to a Camaro or Supra.

With a well sorted suspension, good tires, and about 200 flywheel hp, you'll have a very nice street setup that is dammed fun too.

BTW, welcome to HAN
