i was looking at an article on TI.net about this custom job and i think it looks pretty cool. i think that if i tried it, i would mess it up. has anybody done it? is it easy?(i know it is a long process)
please don't make fun of me, i have my own taste.

I've read many times that they are of poor quality materials and design, so be careful.

I tried, ... hmm tried the 4 LED version (those things are expensive, $5 a piece x 4 per headlight x 2 headlights = $40!!) anyways... the rings themselves came out okay. The rod was hard to find actually, such a stupid thing nobody bothers to stock.
Everything was wired up and ready to be put into the headlights but I got lazy and kinda hesitant to take'em off and melt the glue off then have to wire all those things. So... i wasted like $50+... oh well, it was kinda fun.
