how was the performance of this intake. I have herd its one of the best
SRI out there. does it fit right in? I ask casue I have seen a few pictures
and it looks real close to the coolant overflow tank. and the abs unit and the front strut bar. any info is greatly appriciated. do you loose some
low rpm performance or is it close to stock? thanks again

It rubs everywhere except where the filter is.

Depending on how you angle it you could possible rub:
1) the strut tower bar (depends what bar you have)
2) spark plug wires
3)wires on the left
4)a/c lines
5) filter rubbing on the hood

It's a big big intake. Performance is great.

If you poke around, there is another thread on the J's intake already.

Hood clearance is totally fine as long as you angle it down a bit more.

I'm currently running a generic short ram with an apexi filter and the J's is definately the overall winner when it comes to short rams.
