i believe a type R make around 165 to the wheels stock while a gsr is around 150, Just through i/h/e/c i should be able to come close in a race,Itr is also 100 pounds lighter and better suspencion and lsd.

How would i go about porting stock intake manifold and throttle body? You think thats gonna be better than buying say skunk2?
Also is 12:1 too much?Am i gonna shoot a piston through the roof, or something?

12.1 is not too high but you will have to drive aroudn with at least 93 octane and even run with octane boost to prevent detonation until you get it tuned with some fuel management such as hondata

hoping to run with an itr with only i/h/e/c is not going to be easy. send the i/m and tb out to a shop that knows what its doing. a skunk2 i/m will give you better gains in the top end put you'll lose some in the bottom end.

Have the correct fuel setup and you should be fine on 93 octane.

with an off the shelf mass produced type like dc, dreaming. but with the high end hand built headers, possible.

Fool, did you even check all the link I posted up top? I am basing my estimates on the test result on this site. http://bob123e.tripod.com/thegreatheadertest/

Laugh all you want but that ITR is putting out 176 to the wheels, and the best header they've tested got it to put out 190 to the wheels. From 176-190 is 14 hp. Pretty close . There are other header, such as custom engineered or drag header that could add more than that. Also since you quoted me correctly, you should be able to read that I put "maybe?" at the end of that statement.

the reason why he is laughing histerically is because your common dc or of that sort might get 3whp with intake and exhaust.
