This doesn't make any sense. If you roll the windows down and turn the heat up on defrost with a/c on, the condensation will go away immediately.

You must have a problem with moisture in the ventilation system. If the windows are closed and you have heat up on defrost with the a/c on, you must have a water puddle inside your car or inside your ducts.

Could you have a cracked window or some other place where air/moisture is leaking in? Check your trunk to see if there's any leaks underneath the carpet. If there's a place for water to pool, that could cause the heavy condensation you are experiencing.

It must have been the bizarre weather conditions. Reason being, it rained steadily last night, through the night, and this morning. However, my car did not have any condensation this morning when I jumped in my car. My guess is that when the ICE was melted off the windshield it created so much moisture on the inside of the windshield that I could not simply evaporate it with the heater.

There are these funny little shammy blocks that might help. It looks like a sponge wrapped in shammy. I use one in my Jeep sometimes because it doesn't have AC so the foggy widshield takes too long to clear.

it only does it when it rains the night before and it's real cold too. normal condensation clears in less than 10 seconds with A/C on defrost but this heavy stuff does not...i wonder if there's something you can buy to spray the inside of your windshield to help with condensation?

I have that Prestone Anti-Fog stuff. I'm not sure how good that is.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the honda trick. As far as I know this only works on Hondas/Acuras. Put the temp slider dead in the middle, turn on the AC and crank it. Clears up foggy window in seconds.

I have the same problem with both my integras.

1991 4dr gs and 2000 4dr gs-r(voltage blue metalic)

I live in the central part of the country and the humidity is ALWAYS high it seems. During the winter, rains, or cold nights i have to run the A/c !NONSTOP!, if i think i am ok and turn it off, the condensation will return in about 8 minutes.

Out of all my friends cars(non-integras) mine are the only ones that do this. I know my 1991 has a water seepage problem....but i can find nothing on the 2000 that suggests this.

it sucks
