Default Tune Ups

So i got my 60k mile tune up at the Acura dealer and it was waaay more than i expected it to be...$767...which did include mounting my 4 snow tires on the same rims and replacing my rear right brake caliper...(anyone else have a problem wit their's "sticking"?)

so i think it was maybe $450-$500 for a tune up minus those extra things...??

anyone else pay that much??? (they did say that the gs-rs were more expensive--plat. plugs and other misc stuff i guess--and that other tegs are between $400-$450)

Its all in the manual and way cheaper to have a local trusted mechanic do it for you...

i don't have a local trusted mechanic

at least i know it should all be good now--shifting is incredibly smooth, and i can actually get traction on the road now lol...

so i'm assuming they did an alignment and flushed your tranny fluid.

i have it in my manual what "should" be included in the 60k service, i wanted to kno specifically what was done...

doing it at acura is fine as long as you can afford it. but the prices they charge are outragious. i will always have a local mechanic do it instead of bringing it to the dealer. but the quote they gave you is about right.

i don't have the list but i checked and they did do everything it said to do in the manual, including: replaced spark plugs and wires, did an oil change, new oil filter, cleaned my permanent air filter, , flush tranny fluid, coolant, checked the battery, replaced sumthin to do with the distrubuter, checked the timing, mounted 4 snows on mah swirlies, checked the brake pads, replaced the right rear brake caliper, washed the car :P

i dunno what else...i'm not home so i don't have the receipt.
