Default Integra GS-R

I'm wanting to buy a gsr, but i've been told not to get a gsr, that i should get a ls or a lower end model. I really want a gsr but if it would be cheaper to drop a gsr engine in a gs or ls then let me know. Thank you

i dont think it would be that much cheaper.

if you are gonna do an engine swap, you might as well get a hatchback or other lighter car and really make it worth your time :naughty:, otherwise just get a gsr.

A GS-R will always outperform a GS, LS, or RS for the same amount of money.

Insurance is ridiculous on a GS-R/Type R so you might want to keep that in mind.

Also...most GS-R's/Type R's end up being stolen

True... that's why kill-switches and garages = your friend when you own a GS-R

turbo a properly built ls/vtec motor and you'll woop on almost all those imports. but then again i wouldn't recommend it unless you're very familar with the set up. *sorry just had to add that cuz i got an ls/vtec motor*

Azinracer,

I'm still doing my google research on the LS/VTEC. That's definitely a motor you do not simply swap and forget about maintaining. However, it really sounds like the best of both worlds when properly installed and religiously maintained.
