Default Global Premier 5800K headlights

looking to replace my halogen beams in my 2003 accord - saw some brighter lights on a website for a decent price, but i remember reading somewhere that some people mentioned their wiring harness melted, but wanted to see what you guys had to say about it.

they're 80 watt bulbs as opposed to the normal 55 watts. i had these in my old chevy beretta and didnt have a problem other than the fact that they blew out every 8-9 months (which i didnt care about).

let me knw what you guys think or know.
here's the link:

thanks!

get some Eurodesigns or PIAA's. Eurodesigns are cheaper, long lasting and DOT approved. PIAAs are little bit expensive but worth it.

Seriously, save up for HID's, at the prices that Xenith offers them now, you're better off. Those pics that that company uses are HID pictures. Don't be fooled.

HID is alot of work man. You have to buy a whole HID kit plus Retrofitting, all together its like $400-$500.
I would never spend that much money on the damn headlights

Try either Eurodesign or Sylvania silverstar, both are good.

I have good experience with MTEC and Luminics (my favorite). My luminics are over a year old and their ouput are still the same IMO. Color is pretty white, not blueish. I bought them from SuperAutobacs in SoCal for only $10 during anniversary sale (retail price was $29.99). If you have to buy it at the retail price, it's worth it.

What are you talking about?! Xenith sells kits for $250 full plug in to the factory lights. If you're gonna argue about light glare then all I can tell you is aim your lights. I've successfully installed HID's into a 92 prelude and a 96 Accord with the factory headlights and no glare because I had the light properly aimed by my shop with a machine.

Retro fit for optimum light yes, but not neccessary.

Well from everywhere I've searched and heard, they say that HIDs are not meant to be installed in OEM housing because they reflect beam in irregular pattern and give out alot of glare. You may not notice that but you might be blinding other people with that but I dont know that for sure.

Post some pictures of your car and show how much glare you have on it.

the Sylvania Silverstars are supposed to be pretty good for the money also, correct?
