B20 questions
Do you guys think that 185-200 crank hp is possible on an N.A. b20 daily driven. My plans are Crower cams 402s or 403s not sure yet. If I get 403s I'll need springs & retainers. Skunk 2 manifold, mild P&Polish Fuel pr. reg. and Cold Air Intake exhaust + headers. Redline 7500.
easily reachable.
like Snoopy said, raise your c/r, get the 403's, a header and catback exhaust you should have absolutely no problem reaching that goal.
you dont need much fancy. i believe Arias makes some 10.4:1 pistons for the b20's. go with the 403's plus crower spring kit, its worth it. that should do it, if not, you should be damn close with a good header and exhaust.

not necessarily with a b20.... the pistons need to be gouged for valve reliefs or they will hit.
not to mention, it isnt as simple as "bolting" the vtec head on to the block.
if you wanna take the time, spend the money, and do it right, a b20 vtec will yeild far more power but i wouldnt say it is easier than swappin the pistons out and putting some beefier cams.
I'd push more for 404's for that goal. You need the spring kit anyway for the 403's, you might as well step up to 404's. That, plus some cheap used B16A pistons, I/H/E, an S-AFC and some dyno time should get you close enough.
